Accessories are what tie a whole look together, and knowing which of them goes best with your favourite leather jackets will help take it to the next level.
Leather Jackets are versatile when it comes to styling them and the occasion you can wear them. Whether you're just going to the grocery store, meeting up with friends or to a fancy dinner, you can find a leather jacket for it. Like styling any clothing, there are a few ways to go about this before you can get creative.
Leather Jackets give an edge to your outfit. You can choose to go with that flow or accessorize and pair it with softer forms of clothing.
So, you know you want to wear your leather jacket, but what outfit should you pick to wear underneath? That's the fun part of owning a leather jacket; they go with most outfits you might have in your closet. The tie is optional for a more formal or professional look with a sleek black or brown jacket over a button-up shirt. Other than those two colors for more formal settings, the rest of the different colors of jackets can be worn on just about anything from sundresses to jumpsuits.
Maybe the easiest way to add a little flair to your look is by adding metal jewellery and a stylish wristwatch. Metal rings, bracelets, stud earrings and a thin chain necklace. Top[ that off with a wristwatch with a contrasting or classy coloured wristband to the colour of the jacket will give that put-together look. Wrist watches will always go with any outfit. Be careful not to go overboard with this accessory because instead, it may end up looking more clumpy than desired. Less is more in this case.
You can never have too many pockets, and that includes external pockets as well. Handbags and wallets are another must-have accessories. They not only look good with anything you have in your closet, but they can help determine the impression you are going for. Leather bags, shoulder sling bags and wallets will always radiate a classy feel. In contrast, a woollen bag can leave the impression of a cosy and more comfortable look. The handbag or wallet can determine what an outfit ultimately says about the style you choose.
Just like the handbag and wallet, the headwear you choose will tie into the overall feel of the look. You can choose from different leather hats, bucket hats, and beanies, depending on the look you're going for. The weather doesn't matter when it comes to headwear, especially adding some with an extra splash of colour to compliment the colour of your outfit. Again be sparse when using accessories that have too much colour. Choose at least one accessory that you like to fit your wardrobe style.
Leather shoes or a good pair of boots are the go-to when getting started. A fair rule of thumb that allows your whole outfit to come together in a seamless flow is to match the colour of your leather jacket with the colour of your shoes. If you plan to wear a white leather jacket, pair that up with white shoes or boots. Likewise, for a black leather jacket, you'll want to wear a black pair of shoes. Matching your leather jacket will translate better to the overall look.
Leather jackets can be paired and worn with just about anything; as long as you don't go overboard with the accessories, you can make it work. Choose a style for the occasion and work around that, slowly building on the accessories. Some will match the leather jacket, like shoes and possibly wallets. Others that contrast, like headwear and wristbands and jewellery. And some that compliment the jacket like also headwear, handbags and wallets.
There is so much you can do to give leather jackets a new look every time you decide to go out. With so many possible combinations, hope this article encourages you to try more accessories and outfits to wear with your leather jacket.

It is also a natural product that is unique in appearance, with each hide displaying its markings. These characteristics make leather ideal for high-end fashion and furnishings.
Leather has always been associated with luxury, elegance, and even luxury jewellery brands. It is no wonder that some of the most iconic fashion brands in the world use leather to create their exquisite designs. Leather clothing, accessories, and footwear exude confidence and power. They are seen as a status symbol, reserved for those who can afford the best.

These farms can harm local ecosystems, requiring large amounts of water and land. They also generate significant greenhouse gas emissions.
There are many different types of leather, each with its unique characteristics. Full-grain leather is the highest quality leather available. It is made from the hide's top layer, which has not been sanded or buffed to remove any imperfections. It gives full-grain leather its natural markings and grain patterns, adding beauty and uniqueness.
Nubuck leather is another type of high-quality leather. It is made from the outermost layer of the hide and has a suede-like finish; Nubuck leather is extremely soft and has a velvety texture. It is often used to make clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Suede leather is made from the innermost layer of the hide. It has a very fine grain and is much softer than full-grain or nubuck leather. Suede is often used to make clothing, shoes, handbags, and other accessories.
Split-grain leather is made from the lower layers of the hide. It does not have the same natural grain patterns as full-grain or nubuck leather but is still considered to be high quality. Split-grain leather is often used to make clothing, shoes, and accessories.
Patent leather is a type of leather that has been coated with synthetic resin. It gives patent leather its glossy finish. Patent leather is often used to make clothing, shoes, handbags, and other accessories.
Bonded leather is made from scraps of leather that have been bonded together with adhesives. Bonded leather is not as strong or durable as full-grain or nubuck leather but is still considered high quality. Bonded leather is often used to make furniture and car upholstery.
Recycled leather is made from scraps of leather that have been recycled and turned into new leather products. Recycled leather is not as strong or durable as full-grain or nubuck leather but is still considered high quality. Recycled leather is often used to make clothing, shoes, and accessories.
For starters, leather is an incredibly durable material. It can withstand many wear and tear, making it ideal for clothing that needs to last long. Leather also has a natural resistance to water, so it won't get ruined easily in case of accidental spills.
Another reason leather is such a coveted material is its unique texture and smell. Leather has a rich, distinct scent that is often likened to expensive perfume. It is also known for its soft, supple texture that feels luxurious to the touch.
Lastly, leather ages beautifully. With proper care, a leather garment can last for decades. Over time, the patina that it develops only adds to its charm and character.
Look no further than leather clothing if you're looking for a timeless piece that exudes luxury and elegance. From classic jackets to trendy handbags, there's a leather piece for everyone. So go ahead and indulge in the finer things in life – your wardrobe will thank you for it!

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, two miles (3 km) west of Amesbury. It consists of an outer ring of vertical sarsen standing stones, each around 13 feet (4.0 m) high, seven feet (2.1 m) wide, and weighing around 25 tons, topped by connecting horizontal lintel stones. Inside is a ring of smaller bluestones. Inside these are free-standing trilithons, two bulkier vertical Sarsens joined by one lintel. The whole monument, now ruinous, is oriented towards the sunrise on the summer solstice. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the densest complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred tumuli. Archaeologists believe it was constructed from 3000 BC to 2000 BC. The surrounding circular earth bank and ditch, which constitute the earliest phase of the monument, have been dated to about 3100 BC. Radiocarbon dating suggests that the first bluestones were raised between 2400 and 2200 BC, although they may have been at the site as early as 3000 BC. According to a few sources, flying only accounts for 2.5-3% of the world’s carbon emissions. That isn’t to say that flying doesn’t contribute to climate change, however, there are a number of industries that produce far higher emissions like agriculture, ground transportation, and industry. But if you are an avid flyer, one of the best things you can do to minimize your carbon footprint is to skip out on those ultra cheap, multi-stopover itineraries and opt for a non-stop or direct option.
Fast food or chain restaurants produce a massive amount of waste. Single use plastics, poor waste standards and excess pollution plague fast food restaurants, and they’re not generally a good representative of local cuisine anyway so stick to local restaurants or food markets.
Did you know that it requires approximately 15,000 litres of water and 25 kilograms of grain to produce a mere one kilogram of beef. And if that statistic doesn’t make your head spin, try this one; An estimated 30% of land on earth is used for agricultural purposes. Yikes! We know raising generation after generation of meat-eaters just isn’t sustainable. There are so many incredible vegetarian and vegan cuisines around the world, so do planet earth a solid, and consider going veg for at least part of your holiday.
The LAST thing the planet needs is another plastic bag, filled with useless, plastic souvenirs. Not to mention, plastic bags in most North American cities cost you extra. Do your carbon fiber wallet and the planet a favour and bring a couple of canvas bags for your shopping.
Think about all of the single use plastic you use when you’re on vacation. Everything from the coffee cup you throw away before you step on your flight, plastic cutlery, cocktail straws, disposable toothbrushes, plastic, plastic and more plastic! Put together your own eco travel kit with reusable cutler, metal straws, metal chopsticks, and your own steel travel mug. These materials are easy to sterilize in your hotel or apartment rental.
Using local guides is not only sustainable, but it’s also ethical. The best way to support the local economy of whatever destination you’re looking to explore, is to book with local guides and local tour companies. They’re also well versed in eco-friendly and sustainable practices that benefit their region specifically. They also tend to be more cost efficient than larger, international companies, so even the thinnest wallet can afford a five star eco-friendly experience.
You’ve probably heard this term ‘slow travel’ before, but what does it mean? Slow travel generally means taking a trip and focusing heavily on one particular destination or region. This particular style of travel is popular with North American travellers because of their lack of holiday time. Slow travel generally means you’re not spending your days on non-stop sightseeing tours, bussing around, or catching trains. Your carbon imprint is smaller, and you often spend more time wandering your destination on foot or by bicycle.
If you’re seriously dedicated to becoming a more climate friendly traveller, consider booking yourself on a cycling tour. With nations around the world building better infrastructure for cyclists, there are numerous destinations you can explore on two wheels. If you’re an avid cyclist at home, hop onto the tourism board website of just about anywhere in the world, and you’ll likely find several fantastic self-guided cycling itineraries to help you plan your trip.
Do you know if the hotel you’ve just booked is sustainable? How rigorous is their recycling program? How much water do they waste or conserve? Do they adhere to any local green initiatives? These are all questions you should be asking before you book your hotel. Alternatively, look for eco-friendly lodges, inns or resorts that use sustainable materials. These types of accommodation often incorporate locally grown foods into their menus, use handcrafted toiletries from local companies and have greater control over the footprint of their guests.
No more dolphin swims, elephant rides or wild animal encounters (unless they’re in a responsible sanctuary). All of these tourist-focused practices are not only cruel to the animals that needlessly suffer, but they’re also not climate friendly. These animals are often not fed what they need nutritionally, they attract large groups of tourists at once, and they have few standards when it comes to safety and sustainability.
You know that yucky slick that your body leaves when you dive into a pool, or go snorkeling on a reef? Yeah, that’s deadly for underwater flora and fauna. There are reef destinations around the world that have all-out banned harmful sunscreens, so if you haven’t started doing your research, you better start now. There are a number of mineral based sunscreens that will offer you protection without damaging the ultra sensitive marine eco systems you want to explore.
Travelling is all about having that ultra local experience right? You’re already spending night after night dining on local delicacies, so why not wash it down with some of the local brews? Drinking ‘Near-Beer’ means supporting local breweries, distilleries or even vineyards, instead of drinking international options.
Being a more climate friendly traveller means you get to enjoy those bucket list destinations in a more wholesome, more localized travel experience. Sustainable travel is the only way to preserve national parks, help preserve wildlife populations for future generations to enjoy, and reduce our overall carbon footprint. Sustainable travel has also opened up a newer sector of the tourism industry, which has led to an increase in jobs around the globe. Destinations are tapping into green initiatives to give visitors an overall cleaner, more locally authentic experience.

Journal About What’s Making You Feel Burnt Out
Burnout can be so overwhelming, it’s hard to know where to look first to start the road back to happiness and productivity. Carve a few minutes out of your day, sit down and start jotting down all of the things that are currently making you feel overwhelmed or unhappy. Even if it’s bulleted points, seeing them in black and white can help you visualize how you’re going to start tackling them.
Step Out of Your ‘Bubble’ and Make Social Plans
The pandemic has stolen so many things from our busy social lives, spontaneity being one of them. It’s been near impossible to plan last-minute get-togethers, catch a last-minute movie, anything of the sort. We’ve been doing our best to connect digitally, but we all know that texting isn’t the same as laughing, confiding or conversing with our friends and loved ones in person. We’re nearing the end of this pandemic, but until then, being more proactive in making social time is something you’re going to thank yourself for in the end. It’s time to plug back in to your friends. They miss you.
Take a Nice Long Social Media ‘Stay-Away-Cation’
Social media has probably been a way for you to stay connected. It’s also been a source of news and entertainment. But, it’s also one of the number one sources of anxiety and depression, especially for those who are experiencing burn-out. Put the phone...DOWN. Wait, wait, not yet, finish this article first, and THEN put it down. If it’s not possible to go on a social media fast, consider carving out some time-blocks throughout the day to give yourself a break. Take it further and block out an entire weekend, even if it’s only once a month.
It’s Not About Balance, it’s About Seeking Happiness
How many times have you heard the phrase ‘the key to life is a work/life balance’? That doesn’t work for everyone. Sometimes it’s not about balance, but it’s really about finding happiness and joy in as many aspects of your life as possible. If your work life is flat-lining, it’s time to shake things up. Encourage some team-building exercises, go for a promotion, or line the folds of that tactical wallet with an injection of funds by up-skilling in your field for higher salary gains. In your social life, if you’re feeling overwhelmed, disconnected or weary, it’s time to dial back in. Now that gatherings are permitted in much of the world, it’s time to step away from behind the screen and get in some proper human-to-human face time.
Get a (New) Hobby
Burning out doesn’t always mean you’re reaching your breaking point, sometimes it just means you’re super bored. Boredom is not something to be taken lightly, it can eat away at the best parts of ourselves. If you’re bored with life, it’s likely time to start exploring new things. Just because you’ve been an excellent tennis player your whole life doesn’t mean you’re obligated to only play tennis. Challenge yourself. Try a new sport (when life returns to normal). Find a new interest or set of interests. Become a subject matter expert in a topic or cause you’ve always been interested in, but never gave the time of day. Don’t sit in stasis with your boredom, you have far more control of your life than you think, do something about it.
If you can feel yourself careening towards burnout, now is the time to throw on the brakes and take stock of what you think is contributing to you feeling so exasperated. Pandemic aside, there are specific aspects of your life that you have control over, and if you’re willing to dig deep, you have the power to change the narrative and avoid burning out.

This is one of the most preferred styles of wallet, both for functionality and style, and here’s a fun little fact; the bi-fold wallet dates back to the late 1600’s. Back when paper money began circulation in Europe in the 1690’s, this design had a compartment for any necessary identification and an area for paper money. Coins were still carried in pockets or pouches. Fast forward to the 1950’s when credit cards first made their appearance, and we have a more functional version of the bi-fold or billford. This included slots for credit cards, a pocket for coins and compartments for money and receipts. Our Snake Eye Slim Bifold wallet is optimal if this is the style for you.
With credit cards being the preferred method of payment, you may want a design that’s thinner and more lightweight. If you’re not someone who uses paper money, you’re probably not someone who has a need for coins, then a slim carbon fiber wallet might be better suited for your daily needs. This may not be an option you want when you’re traveling because you generally like to have some room for currency and coins for taxis, or tipping.
This is a great option if you’re the guy whose stuff is always falling out of their wallet. The added security of a zipper makes sure your cards, currency and change are all secure. The zipper bi-fold designs may be slightly bulkier, but you can definitely get designs that have a slimmer profile so you can slip them into a suit pocket, or back pocket of your jeans or trousers.
If you’re not familiar with Radio-Frequency Identification technology, it’s a technology that’s been around since the 1990’s. RFID technology allows you to make purchases by tapping your credit or debit card rather than swiping or keying in your passcodes. Unfortunately, thieves could be standing on a bus next to you, or walking by, and unbeknownst to you, they’ve swiped your cards through your wallet and stolen pertinent information without you ever knowing. RFID wallets are made of special woven fabrics like copper or fine steel, and they block the signals thieves would need to steal your confidential information. An RFID wallet is one that you may not want to carry around all the time, but it’s a great option to have on hand when you go traveling.
Yes, travel wallets that double as passport holders are still very much in fashion! Not only that, they’re going to be more necessary than ever in the near future. If you’re someone who keeps all of your travel documents on your phone (hotel confirmations, transfer bookings, vaccination records), you should always have paper back-ups on your person in case your smartphone malfunctions or the reservation system of the company you’re dealing with goes down. Our Kangaroo Genuine Leather Travel Wallet is a solid option for your next international trip. This design combines anti-RFID technology, with sleep design, and space for all your necessary documents.
These are just a few styles of mens wallets to consider when you’re upgrading your spring or summer 2021 card and money carrying accessories. It’s good to have a few different options for different occasions, especially if you’re a soon-to-be avid traveller.

You’ve likely booked yourself accommodation with Airbnb over the past few years, but have you ever booked an Airbnb experience for yourself or someone else? If you have a traveller in your circle who likes to experience things outside of the box, Airbnb Experiences offers an extensive catalogue of incredible cultural experiences, unique tours, masterclasses and just about any other type of experience you can think of.
Masterclass is an online platform that offers classes taught by celebrities, prize winning authors, thought leaders, academics, business and entertainment gurus and myriad other influential people. For one small fee, users can gain access to hundreds of online classes in various topics of interest.
Travel gear is always a perfect gift idea. From passport wallets, travel wallets and cashmere travel blankets, to wireless ear-buds and new luggage, for the constant jet-setter, they’re always in need of the latest and greatest.
Unless you’re staying in a 5-star hotel, hotel coffee is nothing to write home about. So for the coffee enthusiast, or avid business traveller, a portable espresso maker means they can have delicious coffee wherever they are in the world, as well as bring a little cup of home with them.
If you have a museum, or culture buff in your midst, there has never been a better time to book a private museum tour. With crowds being limited and museums looking to recuperate lost funds from the pandemic, there are plenty of museums around the world, staffed with some of the most impressive historians, waiting to show VIP guests museum collections (some never seen by the regular public).
Not every traveller is ready to take off on some epic trip, and keeping close to home is more their pace. If that’s the case, consider looking at some of the luxury hotels within driving distance to them and booking them in for one night. If you want to enhance the experience, book them into an upgraded room and throw in some room service. It may not be as exciting as heading to the airport for a long haul trip, but sometimes an avid traveller just needs a little break from the ordinary.
If your traveller can’t go wandering the epic vineyards of Napa Valley in California, or Brewery hop around Portland, Oregon, the next best thing is to gift a class in beer brewing or wine making. If you want to upgrade the gift, throw in an at-home wine or cocktail kit to build up anticipation for their class.
The hottest packing accessory right now is the travel cube, a system of spring-loaded, lightweight mesh cubes that make packing simple and organized. No more messy hotel rooms or cruise cabins. And if TSA decides they need to rifle through their stuff, packing cubes keep everything in sight, and easy to remove without all of the usual disheveled chaos.
This is one of the absolute best gifts you can give a world traveller. Next to food, language is the gateway to culture. And while most travellers have a smartphone in hand to help them with in-destination translations, gifting someone a language course like Rosetta Stone allows them to do a deep-dive and hopefully learn more than the simple basics.
If you have any antique car enthusiasts in your midst, there are a number of companies that allow you to specifically rent a vintage car anywhere from a few hours to several days. This is a great gift for anyone celebrating a birthday, anniversary , retirement or just because.
For the avid roadtrippers, an annual national park pass or historical site pass is a solid gift idea. This is the gift that keeps on giving, allowing them the freedom and flexibility to choose where they want to go and when.
The next best thing to enjoying a fresh croissant in the heart of Champ de Mars or a fresh plate of paella in San Sebastian is to explore the world through food at home. Subscription boxes like ‘Try The World’ meticulously curate foods, snacks and ethnic drinks from around the world and delivers it right to their door.
Everyone is a photographer when they’re on holiday, whether they’re walking around with top of the line camera gear, or just a simple iPhone. A smartphone lens kit is the perfect gift idea for those travellers that want to get as much out of their smartphone camera, and be able to post professional looking photos to social media.
For anyone looking to find out more about their ethnic roots and where they come from, an ancestry kit is a brilliant idea. Thousands of trips around the world have been inspired by the results of these kits once travellers discover who they are. Giving the gift of identity is probably one of the most profound and intangible gifts you can give an avid traveller.
If you thought baggage rules were strict before, in the post-pandemic era, every single piece of luggage is accounted for and weighed accordingly. Don’t let your traveller suffer an embarrassing moment by over-packing and paying extra at the check-in gate.
Travel is making a fast comeback, and the traveller in your life is getting ready to spread their wings and take flight. Help them feel excited about the prospect of travel again by gifting them something that inspires them to take off to far off places.

Well, it depends on who you ask, as there are a few definitions of what constitutes a yacht. Back in the 1980’s and into the early 1990’s, the definition of ‘yacht’ was largely based on the massive superyachts that were more than a 100-feet. Some yachts are as small as 50 feet and others, larger than 200. Today, a yacht can be significantly smaller, and speaks more to the amenities on board. A yacht is a lifestyle and exotic home to explore some of the most prestigious ports and beautiful destinations on earth.
Before you start planning your yachting adventure, it’s important to know what types of charter options are available. This is especially important to know if you’re working within a specific budget. Here are three different ways to charter a yacht:
This is where you would book yourself onto a group charter and you would be paying for a single cabin, similar to how it would work on a cruise ship. There are hundreds of yacht charter companies around the world that offer exclusive yachting tours you could book. Some of the most popular destinations for private yacht tours include Greece, Croatia, the Caribbean, the Pacific Northwest and the South Pacific.
This type of yacht charter would be optional for anyone who is familiar with the yachting circle or is comfortable finding a crew and captain to run the charter for you. A bareboat charter means exactly that, you are chartering the yacht only, without staff. There are a number of reputable charter companies around the world who have reputable and licensed captains, you just have to make sure you do your research. In addition to a captain and crew, you would also be responsible for all necessary supplies, food, fuel and any other provisions you may need.
This is pretty self explanatory; A crewed charter means you are paying for a fully staffed yacht. This charter also generally includes all provisions that would be necessary for your trip. This is the most sought-after yachting experience. These charters, much like the bareboat option, are fully customizable. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or exploring a destination that you’re not familiar with, a fully crewed charter is the most cost efficient, and worry-free way to enjoy a yacht charter.
There are several factors that would influence the cost of a charter, including size, destination, length of time, and season. The more remote the destination, the higher the cost. More remote destinations will often require a highly skilled captain who is proficient in navigating a vessel through unpredictable weather. Some ports of call demand higher docking fees or port costs and therefore will influence the cost of a charter. And the more you customize your charter, the higher the cost.
Grab your passport wallet because it's time to get the boys together and go on a yacht. Chartering a private yacht in the coming months may be the perfect alternative to a conventional cruise holiday. And if you opt for a fully crewed or bareboat yacht charter, you have more control over who comes on board, which will ultimately keep you and your guests safer. Before you dismiss the idea over cost, crunch some numbers, divide it between your guests and you may be pleasantly surprised to learn that it’s not an experience reserved for the rich and famous.

Most financial advice will almost always start with a simple, fundamental step which is ‘create a budget.’ It can be a long, drawn out and tedious task - Unless you are an economist or accountant, pouring over your expenses is not exactly exciting or eye-opening. But before you throw a budget together, how much is coming in? If you’re a salaried employee, you’ll have a solid handle on how much you have to work with. If you’re a freelancer, business owner or entrepreneur, it can be a bit trickier because you will experience windfalls and downfalls. However, you’ll still have enough of an idea to map out a workable budget.
Never before in the history of humanity has there been such an abundance of tools to help us manage our lives, especially our finances. There are plenty of budget and spend tracking apps that can help you monitor your spending. It’s likely that your own bank has a number of automated tools that you can use to be better with your budget. Some banks offer to ‘round up’ certain purchases and automatically put the leftover into a savings account. You can easily set up auto-matic payment for your bills so you’re never late. And if you’re focused on a retirement or education fund, there are plenty of apps to help you calculate out those future expenses, help you create a plan to save for them, and then help you execute those plans.
Your eyes are likely rolling far back into your head because you’ve heard this before! And for good reason! Having a budget is often misconstrued as a way to limit yourself from doing the things you want, or buy the things you want, when it should be viewed as a way to get what you want! How much better do you feel when you’re able to buy that sought after tactical wallet, or throw down a deposit on that car you want, and you know full well you won’t be going into the red when you do it? Living within your means and not overspending means you have financial freedom later.
How many times have you seen some sort of subscription club show up in your Facebook or Instagram feed. Whether it’s a shaving club, a food box subscription or an online magazine subscription, all of these monthly fees can add up over a year's time. Maybe you signed up for a trial subscription and forgot to turn it off. Or maybe you keep forgetting to cancel it. If your income is stable and consistent, then you have nothing to stress about. But if your income is up and down, you may want to throw those subscriptions on pause, or wait for a promotion.
In many parts of the world, we are so used to paying whatever we’re told to pay. Whether it’s our mobile bill, our cable and internet bills or any other bill that is negotiable, don’t take the first offer as gospel. The time for negotiation is not after you use the services (obviously!) If you are signing up for a new internet package, or a new cable package, find out what the promotions are, and do the math. Do they make sense? Also, don’t be afraid to shop around. It’s important to maximize value wherever you can.
Credit cards are often deemed the enemy because of the potential financial damage they can do. And it’s true, credit card debt comprises some of the most devastating types of debt because of their high interest rates. However, if used correctly, credit cards can be your best friend, especially cash back or travel-focused credit cards. If you are disciplined enough to always pay off your balance every month, credit cards help you establish credit, and provide you a variety of benefits.
It’s important to have a short term savings account or rainy day account. This savings account is great for those unforeseen emergencies. For example, if you lose your job suddenly, you should try to have an average of three months salary and expenses saved up so you have some breathing room. You can take your time searching for a new job, while simultaneously making sure your bills and expenses don’t fall behind. Your long term investments should be for things like retirement, a new home, school tuition, new car, or larger expenditures that you may have in the distant future.
Leave room in your monthly budget for something fun! Living within your means should not mean that you don’t get to reward yourself for all of the hard work you put into your life. This notion of denying yourself everything and sacrificing all of your joy for the sake of saving is a toxic one. Life is short, and you should absolutely be able to enjoy things in the moment because that rainy day is never a guarantee. So go on then, go get that super luxurious shave and haircut from that upscale barber downtown you’ve passed by a few times. Take yourself out to that favourite restaurant once a month, and enjoy having someone else cook for you. Or buy that book you’ve been thinking about, but made a mountain of excuses not to snag. Or finally invest in that luxurious leather men's wallet that you've always wanted. No need to be a financial martyr, enjoying life is just as important as saving for the future.
Perhaps it isn't your spending that is tough on your finances and it's the men's wallet you're using. Maybe your wallet is all battered up and is constantly causing your cards and cash to fall out or maybe you just have too big of a wallet that encourages you to keep spending. Cold Fire's tactical wallets for men are thin, slim, tough and perfect for keeping your cash where you want it to be.]]>
In the interest of becoming a more climate friendly traveler and reducing waste when you’re on the road, having a sleek travel mug on hand means you’re never using those horrid styrofoam or paper cups, and your coffee or tea is always hot.
Travelling as light as possible should always be your mantra, for myriad reasons. Airlines will be looking to gouge travellers wherever they can to make up for financial losses and that includes charging extra for overweight carry-on luggage. E-readers are lightweight, can hold hundreds of books and audiobooks, and are now waterproof, so you can enjoy them next to the pool, at the beach or anywhere else you might get wet.
Again, in keeping with the travelling light theme, a tactical wallet is designed for the gent who is active, on the go and ultra adventurous. So whether you’re base jumping in Dubai or on a scuba diving trip in the Canary Islands, you’ll want to have one of these on your packing prep list.
Yes, they’re worth it. They’re worth every single penny. If you’ve been waiting a a full year or more to get away and your first overseas flight has you sitting two rows back from a family with noisy little ones, the last thing you want is to spend the next 8-10 hours drowning out their squeaks with crappy airline earbuds. Spare no expense, but do your brand research.
If you’re Type A or you just really can’t stand constantly having to dig through your suitcase to find something, end the torture now. Packing cubes can solve all of your organizational woes in a matter of moments. Just in case you’re not totally familiar, packing cubes are organizational compartments made from fabric that come in various shapes, sizes, colours and patterns. They work great for those travellers who like to fold or roll their clothing. Packing cubes are also fantastic for organizing all of your electronics, shoes and anything else that gets disheveled or lost while you’re on holiday.
Remember we mentioned those airline surcharges earlier? You don’t want to be that guy who steps to the front counter, gets their bag weighed and has some smug ground attendant charge you for having an oversized bag. Having a reliable digital scale on hand means you can weigh your bags before you leave on your trip, giving you a baseline, and allowing you to calculate how much you can bring back home.
You’ve seen those YouTube videos with all of those scary graphics discussing how many germs and how much bacteria is living in those blankets they hand out on those overnight flights. Hygiene on the road is more important than ever, and having your own travel blanket and pillow means you’re not using someone else’s dirty blanket!
The new age of travel is upon us. Less waste, more sustainability, and more emphasis on creating comfort and safety for ourselves. Travel may be a bit more expensive for the next little while as the industry tries to catch up, so do yourself and your tactical wallet a favour by travelling light, and using products that are better made so you’re not shelling out money to replace things so often.

Even if the weather forecast says it’s going to be a scorcher, pack for all weather systems, and think layers. You’ll want waterproof options, a warm jacket in case you get caught overnight, a couple of changes of dry socks, gloves, warm hat, supportive footwear. Always choose shoes or boots that will support your ankles, your arches and will provide good grip. And don't forget to swap out your old battered wallet for a carbon fiber slim wallet that's designed for maximum durability (and all types of weather).
Most survival guides recommend packing a minimum of 1L of water, but if you’re someone who sweats profusely, you may want to double that. Dehydration is going to be one of your biggest enemies on the trail if you’re not prepared or don’t know where the closest (and safest) water source is.
Avoid caffeine, sugary drinks, empty carbohydrates and anything else that will your body will burn through because of its lack of nutrition. Think nuts and seeds mixes, protein bars, dried fruit, oatmeal, nut butters and bananas. Something else to consider (and you may not want to hear, especially if you’re hiking with mates and you’re having a bit of fun), is to leave the alcohol at home. Alcohol dehydrates the body, weakens the immune system and can impede your decision making, which is especially dangerous when you’re on a more challenging hike.
Technology is brilliant, but it’s not always reliable when you’re in the middle of some trail, on your way up a mountain. Understanding how to read a map is a lost skill and will become essential if you think you’ve wandered off the trail. Tuck the map away in your carbon fiber slim wallet, and place it in a waterproof baggie to keep it safe. Also make sure to bring a fully charged cell phone, a portable charger, a GPS system and a compass.
Even in the middle of the day, if you’re hiking in the alpine, dappled light can make it difficult to see markers, posts or signs. And if night falls and you’re forced to spend the night where you are, you’re going to need illumination. Pack a headlamp as well as a separate flashlight. Make sure the batteries are charged and fresh.
Knowing how to perform basic first aid is a life skill that every single one of us should have, regardless of whether we’re off on an outdoor adventure. Do yourself and your hiking party a favour, and take a basic survival training course before you set out. Knowing how to dress a wound, set a broken bone, treat a severe allergic reaction or stitch a cut will not only give you much-needed confidence, but could be the difference between life or death on the trail. Here are a few key items your first aid kit should have:
Before you head out on your day hike, make sure you ask your hiking buddies if anyone has any special allergies or medications they may be taking in case an emergency takes place and you have to leap into action.
Make sure you have a couple of lighters, plenty of waterproof matches, and flint on hand to make a fire if necessary.
You may not want to haul your sleeping bags around for an 8-10 hike, if your intention truly is to come home at the end of the day. But even so, if you do get caught in the outdoors, you want to be warm. The temperature drops significantly at night and the most common way hikers can guarantee a call into the local search and rescue organizations, is by not being prepared for the elements. A tarp can be used as a lean-to shelter, an emergency blanket will keep you warm for a night or two, away from the elements.
You won’t want to carry wet clothes around on your back, so bring something you can put them in to keep your pack dry. Also, you want to make sure you carry absolutely everything out that you brought in. All garbage, food scraps and any packaging must be taken out with you and disposed of in a rubbish bin when you find one.
Unless you’re well familiar with the foliage around where you’re hiking, and feel confident you won’t give yourself a wicked case of poison oak, or ivy, we don’t suggest using anything other than toilet tissue on your derriere!
Now that we’ve covered the must-haves for a day hike, here are a few ‘nice-to-have’ options that you may want to consider:
There are a number of moisture-wicking, terry-cloth style towels on the market that roll up into nothing, but are nice to have on hand if you decide to take a dip in a lake or river.
If you’re traveling with friends, you’ll want to capture these nature-filled moments. Plus, you never know what you’ll see along the way.
Depending on where you’re going hiking, bear spray may be something that is necessary for you and your hiking party to have on hand. This is especially the case if you’re hiking during the early spring months when mothers and their cubs are making their way through the woods. Make sure you know precisely how to use bear spray before you use it, you could end up seriously injuring yourself.
Do a bit of research on binoculars before you make a purchase as they can be quite heavy and burdensome. But if your intent, on your hike, is to enjoy nature along the way to your destination, invest in a powerful set of binoculars so you can enjoy your nature safari.
There are always more items that could be added to your pack, and of course, it will depend on what you’re doing, and the difficulty of your hike. The key things to remember are having enough water, food, appropriate clothing for the elements (including a carbon fiber wallet), a way to make fire and shelter, and a means to find your way in and out.

Malta
Not only is Malta one of the most underrated destinations to explore on land, but it just so happens to be an amazing spot for Wreck diving. There are a number of sites to explore like the Blenheim Bomber site, a World War II resting 42 metres below the surface approximately 800 metres east of Xrobb I-Ghagin. The cockpit cover has blown off, but the engine and wings are intact. There is also a De Havilland Mosquito, another World War II bomber that was interestingly made mostly of wood.
Orkney, Scotland
If you had to choose a handful of things that Scotland is renown for, diving probably wouldn’t be one of them! A nice peaty glass of Scotch? Yes. Sheep-dotted hills? Absolutely. Wreck diving? I don’t think so! So you might be surprised to know that some of the most incredible wreck diving in the world is off the coast of the Orkney Islands. Pack your best men's travel wallet, and a good dry suit or wet suit, because these waters are challenging. In the Scapa Flow, a natural harbour and one of the most important historical maritime sites. Here you’ll find 7 different Wreck sites to explore. The waters are exceptionally clear, and the sites are a great place for moderately experienced to experienced divers to explore.
Cyprus
Cyprus is a much loved destination for sun and sand seekers, and it’s also home to a fascinating dive site you may not have heard of. The sheer size of the MS Zenobia can be intimidating. Located near Larnaca, the MS Zenobia, a Swedish built car and passenger ferry that launched in 1979 and capsized on her maiden voyage in 1980. Laying on her port side, with various trucks and large pieces of cargo still on deck, this 42 metre dive is undoubtedly one of the most challenging dive sites in Europe.
Portofino, Italy
You could spend a lifetime visiting Italy, and barely scratch the surface, let alone explore the underwater world. The number of activities and side trips you can pack in are endless. One minute you’re shopping for beautiful men’s travel wallets in Rome, the next you’re leaping off a yacht, exploring the stunning Portofino National Park. Towering cliffs and unique rocky formations have created an ideal environment for hundreds of marine life species.
Lofoten Islands, Norway
Like Scotland or any diving destination in Northern Europe, having the right diving gear is non-negotiable; these waters are cold! Norway offers diving opportunities for divers of all abilities with plenty of wreck sites to explore, as well as stunning kelp forests, myriad species of marine life, most notably orca whales. The waters here are very clear, so be sure to bring your favourite underwater camera.
Diving is often thought to be a tropical past time when you head out on a beach holiday, and while that’s true, some of the best diving in the world happens to be cold water diving. The great thing about diving in places like Northern Europe is that you’re dealing with less crowds, extremely experienced dive leaders and marine species that you otherwise wouldn’t get to experience on your tropical dives. You'll want to bring your men's travel wallet with you wherever you go while in Europe because there are so many incredible places to shop.

There are two ways to experience a guest ranch; you can go with an a la carte experience which means your accommodation, meals, trail rides and most other activities will be priced out separately. This is a good option for anyone who is price conscious or wants a barebones guest ranch experience. The second, more popular option is the all-inclusive experience. Much like an all-inclusive in Mexico or the Caribbean, you pay once and room, board, trail time and most other experiences on the ranch will be included. We say treat yourself and go with the full board option.
Another tip is to use an RFID wallet. This will protect you against electronic pickpocketing, which is common in touristy areas.
So where should you go?
Arizona may not be the first place that comes to mind when you think of cowboys and ranch country. It often gets associated with golf courses and desert scenes. But some of the most famous cowboy characters originated in Arizona; Billy the Kid, Wyatt Erb and Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Arizona is teeming with western history, and boasts ghost towns, old gold mines, and one of the most iconic sites in American history, Skeleton Canyon where the fearless Geronimo of the Apache surrendered. Wyoming is for nature lovers, so if you’re looking to go easy on that ‘ol men's leather wallet, consider a more rustic experience, and when you’re not on trail rides, spend your days hiking the several hundred trails on offer in Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Park.
Once it's safe again, you may want to expand your guest ranch horizons and tick off one of those bucketlist item like living like a gaucho in foothills of the Andes mountains in Argentina. Ranches here are called estancias and are most often working ranches run by centuries-old family dynasties. Hailed as one of the world’s last frontiers, and largely untouched, these estancias provide an authentic and deeply cultural ranch experience. Carve out some extra time for this trip, because Argentina serves up rustic ranch experiences, dramatic landscapes, sumptuous cuisine, endless adventure-focused activities for those blokes who want to bond and inspire some epic travel tales to laugh about later.

These are just seven of the world’s best dude ranch destinations. When you sit down to plan out your ranch holiday, make note of the types of experiences you would like to have. Note how much time you’re hoping to spend in the saddle and determine whether or not you’re a novice, at an intermediate level or an expert. Your riding ability will affect the type of package you can book, and will also help ranch hands create the best experience for you. Again, don't forget your RFID wallet. It's just an extra layer of protection you just can't go wrong with.

And while the daylight hours are short this time of year, mother nature shows off in style with the Northern Lights. Vibrant ribbons of green and yellow streak across star-studded skies.
If you’re a beer fan, you’ve probably tried Guinness, but have you poured your very own Guinness at the Guinness Storehouse in the heart of Dublin. When the Game of Thrones fan activity was at a fever pitch, travellers were pouring into destinations like Split, Hvar, and Dubrovnik. And in the post-pandemic era, you’re probably looking for places that are devoid of crowds. Croatia is one of Europe's best-known secrets, so why not go somewhere that truly is off the beaten path? Korčula is one of the largest Dalmatian islands and a favourite amongst locals. Surrounded by the ocean, this medieval walled city has the feel of Dubrovnik, and also happens to be the Croatian ‘island of wine’.
The Costa Del Sol, Ibiza, and French Riviera call to beach lovers during those sizzling summer months, but if you and the guy don’t love being sandwiched in on the sand, consider a lesser-known, equally epic beach holiday destination. Ksamil, Albania offers up turquoise seas, nearby World Unesco Heritage Sites, quaint villages, and friendly people. The cost of living here is considerably less than most other European countries, and while the summer months (July and August) are considered peak travel times, if you visit during the months on either side of that, you’ll find emptier beaches and great prices.

It may sit just above the Arctic Circle in Northern Norway, but a warm Gulf stream means this corner of the globe enjoys surprisingly warm temperatures. Renown for being the land of the midnight sun, beautiful white sandy beaches, deep fjords, clifftops teeming with seabirds, and ancient Viking past, the Lofoten Islands are the ideal bucket list destination for nature lovers, sea-goers, adventure enthusiasts, and those who want to unplug and enjoy some wilderness.

Fly into Aberdeen, rent a car, and make your way to Cairngorms National Park. Head to the heart of the Highlands and visit Dalwhinnie Distillery and enjoy a selection of traditional Single Malts, such as a 15-year-old vintage called ‘the gentle spirit’, paired with handcrafted Highland chocolates.
In one of our past articles, we talked about some of the most epic places around the world to go base jumping. Europe is full of BASE jumping hotspots, but not all of them are legal! If you’d rather not risk getting arrested on your bucket list trip (which we highly recommend you NOT doing), head to Lauterbrunnen Valley, the BASE jumping capital of Europe. Here, you’ll find a number of world renown BASE jumping schools for jumpers of all levels. The cliffs in the Lauterbrunnen Valley provide adrenaline junkies with epic drops of 2,600 feet so bring some steely nerves!
While we’re on the theme of leaping off of inanimate objects and flinging ourselves towards earth at hair-raising rates, how about an epic 15,000 foot skydiving trip over the beautiful Czech countryside? Next to BASE jumping, there is activity that will get your heart pounding than feeling the thunderous roar of that airplane door sliding open, the rush of the wind stinging your face, and the last thing you see before hurling towards that earth at 200km/h is that elusive flashing green light. Your parachute swoops open and for six or seven blissful minutes, you get to enjoy a birds eye view of Prague off in the distance. Once your feet have hit solid ground and you’ve got some feeling in your legs again, head into the heart of town and go on a walking tour of one of the world’s most exciting beer capitals.
Whether you’re on the hunt for adrenaline pumping experiences, enjoy a leisurely, but boozy stroll through some of the world’s most iconic cities, or need a beach side escape, the options for European mancations are endless. You can focus on one theme, or include absolutely every travel preference, style and activity in one trip. You may want to think about those lesser known destinations in the post-pandemic travel era to save yourself (and your mates) some money, but also, to give yourselves the opportunity to explore places that may not have been on your radar before. Don't forget to make sure your men's wallet has an RFID shield for added protection.

Every few years this trend makes a comeback through different collections. This year, Dolce & Gabbana as well as Gucci incorporated anchor themed sweaters and shirts in their collection. But let’s be honest, maritime themed styles will never go out of style. Dating back to the Victorian Era, the British Empire was conquering the furthest reaches of the world, and the British naval uniform came to represent courage, loyalty and power. In modern times, nautical styles are often synonymous with beach holidays, yachting and cruising; Travel.
Maybe it’s because we’ve all been running businesses or attending meetings from the comfort of our home that we’re dying to dress to impress. Men’s suits will never go out of style, and as we head into warmer weather, lighter fabrics like cotton twill, linen, and seersucker are ideal. In more casual work environments, skip the heavy dress shoe and consider an embellished or smart leather sandal instead.
You probably have a bomber jacket (or two) hanging in your closet, and a few of you may even have a Harrington jacket but just don’t know it. A Harrington (also known as a G9 or Baracuta jacket), was made famous by Hollywood icon James Dean. Harrington’s are usually made from a light-weight cotton, wool, suede, or polyester material. They’re waist-length, and are a great transitional jacket between seasons. They never go out of style and are perfect for just about any occasion.
Lighter washed denim, while it may be a bit more expensive (because of the in-depth washing process), it’s far more comfortable than raw denim, and more suitable for the warmer month. Lighter denim can be paired with a cheeky graphic Tee, a simple white T-shirt or dressed up with a Harrington jacket or light-weight, unlined blazer.
Yes, we’re inevitably still going to use our phones to check the time, social media and email, but like a slick and slim carbon fiber wallet, nothing can replace the elegance of a beautiful wrist-watch. In 2021, you’re going to see a bit of a renaissance with two types of watches; the first is the minimalist design. These will be neutral colours, with simple leather wristbands, with the flexibility to be worn enough with any outfit or style. The other, more popular design option is the ‘skeleton watch’. The mechanics of these watches are visible through both the front and back of the watch itself, and it’s the detailed inner workings of these well-crafted watches that make this must-have spring 2021 accessory a proper conversation starter.
These are just a handful of ideas you can incorporate into your spring 2021 wardrobe once we step out of lockdown and into normal everyday life. You may even have some of these things kicking around your closet and it’s time to bring them back out. Stay tuned for more style tips over the coming weeks and new styles of slim wallets for men and women.

One of the biggest myths going is that self-care is just for women. This could not be further from the truth. Self-care is not a gendered practice, it’s a human necessity, especially in these highly stressful times that we are currently trying to navigate. Self-care is a way that we can take stock of what’s going on in our lives, how we are coping with external stresses, and things that we can do to take care of our physical, spiritual and mental well being. These practices can be small shifts in mindsets, all the way up to changing the trajectory of our completely, it all depends on where you’re at in life. Here are a few self-care tips for men that could change your life for the better:
Once you’ve finished reading this article, switch off your phone, close your laptop or turn the display off on your laptop for 15-20 minutes. Close your eyes, take a few deep breaths, and either go do something else, or just sit and give your eyes (and brain) a rest. If you could squeeze in 20% less screen time per day, you could potentially lower your cortisol levels, lower your anxiety, and feel more present in your life.
One thing that leads to burn-out or work fatigue is monotony. Most of us don’t thrive by doing the same activities and tasks over and over again. We don’t feel intellectually challenged and we certainly don’t feel fulfilled. If you’re working from home, on your lunch break, grab your keys and go for a drive. Or throw on your running gear and hit up your favourite park or trail. Better yet, take the afternoon off, grab your camera, try your hand at some nature photography. Skip out on errands, just this once, and go shopping for that tactical wallet you’ve been researching for a while. If life feels like it’s on repeat, change it up, even if it’s just for an afternoon.
We’ve all got that ongoing list of stuff that needs doing. It could be a basic home repair, organizing an overstuffed closet, or tidying up your garage. You might be reading this thinking, ‘how is cleaning up going to make me feel better, I HATE cleaning.” Despite your hate-on for staying organized, that disastrous corner of your room, or leaky pipe under the sink in the kitchen has probably been nagging at you for sometime, think about how good it will feel to have taken care of it? Small accomplishments help build up our confidence, combat overwhelm, and often inspire us to keep tackling other unfinished projects.
One of the reasons we all need self-care so desperately is because we’re walking around thinking very little of ourselves. We’ve got the negative self-talk dialed up to a thousand, and what we really need is some validation in a number of areas in our lives. Don’t think of this as merely ‘fishing for compliments’, but rather, doing some soul searching and learning that how you perceive yourself is not how others see you. We are our worst critics, and our friends, family, and work colleagues are able to see things we don’t.
Set aside some time in your day for this one-time task. Go through your social media lists, analyze who you’re following, and have a look at who is following you and engaging with you on those platforms. If there are individuals who are always leaving negative comments or trying to start arguments, ask yourself; do these people make me feel better about myself? Now, that doesn’t mean go through and delete everyone who doesn’t agree with you because it’s as important to have discourse with individuals who hold different viewpoints than not. However, you should only be keeping those who are capable of respectful conversation. Better yet, stick with those brands and individuals who convey uplifting, positive messages.
We often forget that humans are naturally community oriented beings. We need connection, especially during a time where we’re all being forced into isolation. One of the greatest gifts men can give themselves is a voice for issues that are not usually talked about. A men’ group is a safe space to talk about things like mental health, thoughts of self-harm, stress and anxiety, relationship struggles and anything else you may be afraid to discuss for fear of judgement.
If you were fortunate enough to keep your job during this pandemic, you’ve probably been stuck at home or you’ve been working all year without taking time off for a holiday because, well, where are you going to go! But if you don’t take an extended break from work, you run the risk of burn-out and that’s going to set you back mentally. You need a break! You may not be able to hop a plane to enjoy palm-fringed beaches and turquoise waters, but you can book yourself into a nice hotel, order room service, pull out that tactical wallet and snag yourself a massage. And to really feel like you’re on vacation, throw on the ‘out-of-office’ on your email, switch off the phone, and enjoy a few days of not being on information overload.
Laughter is some of the best medicine, literally. It’s been scientifically proven that laughter lowers blood pressure, it triggers much needed endorphins, diffuses negative thoughts and a whole host of other things that do the body good! Along with laughter, connecting with those we love and care about is also good for us, so rather than a plain old FaceTime or Skype chat, plan a games night, with prizes. Bingo, Cards Against Humanity, Pictionary and Charades are all hilarious game options you can try over Zoom that will instantly lighten the mood and bring your tribe together.
When was the last time you wrote someone an actual letter, tossed it in an envelope and mailed it off? You may not have time to write full-fledged letters, but what you could do is pick up some postcards from a local gift shop, write some positive affirmations, and let your friends and family around the world know that even though you’re not able to be with them in person, you’re thinking about them.
So, grab your tactical wallet and invest in your own self care.

The easiest way to pandemic proof your staycation, is to plan a trip that’s based in the outdoors. Instead of booking a campsite where the rest of the public will be, consider getting adventurous, taking some packs, and hiking into some more rural spots. Now, you’ve probably gone camping with your mates before, and shared a tent, but if you want to stay safe, make sure everyone has their own tent, sleeping bag, and eating utensils. Be mindful of who is touching what, and keep plenty of soap and hand sanitizer on hand.
Want to amp up your outdoor adventure? Consider putting together a kayaking or canoeing trip. There’s no complicated route planning involved, especially if you’re travelling just offshore. But you will want to make sure you go through your gear list with a fine tooth comb. Like any outdoors trip, you’re going to want to plan and pack for all seasons, and if you’re not super comfortable in a kayak or canoe, consider taking some lessons first. You can plan a short trip, which might be better if you’re new to this kind of activity, or go longer if you’re a veteran and you want some quality bonding time with your friends in the great outdoors. Make sure to pack your compact wallet for this one, so you can slip it into a tightly sealed pocket.
Few experiences will bond the gents more than a sailing trip. It can be a bit tougher to socially distance when you’ve got all hands on deck, so choose your mates wisely for this adventure. For a truly relaxing experience, consider chartering a boat that comes with a skipper. That way you can still have the epic experience of sailing, without the responsibility of keeping on course. Put those compact wallets together and share the costs of some great food, cocktail ingredients, and assign someone with the task of putting together some really epic music lists. Voila – A guy’s staycation you’ll be talking about long after the pandemic is over.
If you’ve seen Kevin Costner’s Yellowstone, you may have an uncontrollable desire to throw on some cowboy boots, a ten gallon hat and head out onto the open range on your trusty steed. A guest ranch is a great staycation option for those who want to spend the majority of their days outside in the fresh air, and want to master the art of horse riding. These ranches are often working ranches which means the ranch hands can give you a taste of cattle herding, and all of the responsibilities that come along with ranch life. Most ranches have separate cabins and meals can be taken outdoors in case you’re concerned about being in close quarters.
Planning a vacation may not be in the cards this year with everything going on around the world, but we can’t let a pandemic stop us from exploring our own backyards. So grab your closest mates, put your heads together, and consider escaping a little closer to home this year.

Dubai
There are a few things you might want to do first before you hop a plane to Dubai and fling yourself off of the world’s tallest building. Ask permission! BASE jumping is not a legal sport in many places in the world for various reasons including the danger factor, but also, the fact that it draws crowds can cause extra safety concerns. But, if you’re a seasoned Jumper, somewhere like the Burj Khalifa might be amenable to experienced jumpers bringing publicity to their property in the post-pandemic travel era. Back in 2010, two jumpers were given permission to jump, and they set a world record for the world’s highest BASE jump (2,716 feet) going over 136 miles an hour. Needless to say, you'll want the slimmest wallet stuffed tightly in a zipped compartment for this adventure.
Idaho, United States
This might be a great place to take your first jump for a number of reasons. Sitting above the Snake River in the state of Idaho, the Perrine Bridge stands at 457 meters high. It attracts BASE jumpers from all across the North America and the world, because it’s one of the only places on earth, you don’t require a jump permit. So pack that tactical wallet, but don’t stress about crazy costs. A world record was set for number of jumps when Dan Schilling leaped off 201 times in less than 24 hours back in 2006.
Shanghai, China
Urban jumps are not for the faint of heart. There’s little room for error, and the crowd is significant. The Jin Mao building is one of Shanghai’s tallest buildings and it’s well known for having high winds. This 1,174 foot jump saw dozens of jumpers during the 2004 International BASE Jump Show. So, if you think you’ve got the stomach for it, take the elevator up 88 stories and enjoy the city of Shanghai at your feet.
Lauterbrunnen Valley
If you’ve travelled, you know that not only do the Swiss have a reputation for pulling dangerous, death defying feats, they live up to that reputation. Lauterbrunnen Valley is an excellent place to experience your first BASE jump, not only because of the hair-raising 2,600 drop, but because Switzerland is home to some of the most epic BASE jumping schools in the world. The cliffs in this valley see hundreds of BASE jumpers during peak season, of all abilities and ages.
Angel Falls, Venezuela
You want to brag to all of your other BASE jumping buds? Take a flying leap off of the world’s tallest waterfalls and you’ll instantly give everyone FOMO. This jump takes some serious commitment, top notch gear and some serious climbing skills. First, you have to climb up through the jungle for several days, then scale a rock face, all before you reach your launch spot. Once you do, it’s probably one of the most, if not, the most beautiful and thrilling jumps you’ll ever do. Enjoy the 3,212 foot plunge!
Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
While countless BASE jumpers have been prosecuted for sneaking around and illegally leaping off of buildings all over Asia, the Kuala Lumpur Tower in Malaysia has marketed itself specifically to jumpers! The KL Tower as it’s known, hosts an annual BASE jumping event that attracts more than 100 jumpers from all over the world. Kuala Lumpur is known as the BASE jumping capital of the world, so if you’re thinking of diving (pun intended) into this realm, this is definitely a bucketlist spot to tick off your list. The tower can see high winds, much like the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, but it’s much easier to get permission to jump here most times of the year.
West Virginia, USA
BASE jumping in America’s National Parks is highly illegal, however, there are a few places, mainly bridges, where it is allowed. The New River Gorge in West Virginia is one of those spots. Jumper have been gather here in October of every year to celebrate Bridge Day since 1980. At a modest 846 feet, this jump pales in comparison to some of the other famous spots around the world, but it does draw a fun crowd, and you’ll also be in the company of rock climbing enthusiasts and rapellers. If you’re looking for a place to kick off your BASE jumping career, this might be the perfect spot for you.
Garhwal Himalaya, India
Novices need not apply. This jump is only for the most experienced and most death-defying jumpers in the world. Absolutely any kind of sport that takes place in the Himalayas, the highest points on earth, requires athleticism, critical thinking, nerves of steel, and the possible equipment money can buy. The 21,850 foot summit makes pretty much every other jump around the world look like you’re jumping off the monkey bars at the playground. As you’ve probably already guessed, this is not an easy jump point to access. It requires significant planning, and mountaineering skills. But if you’re up for the challenge, nothing will top this thrill.
The Dolomites, Italy
There isn’t a specific spot to jump, but if you ask around the BASE jumping community, they share with you some of their favourite spots. This mountain range, because of it’s various peaks at different altitudes, it’s considered a great spot for intermediate jumpers who have a few jumps under their belt, but aren’t quite as advanced as those leaping off of Angel Falls. This is also a great spot to have your thrills, and spend the rest of your time having a less adrenaline-thumping holiday. Bring your tactical wallet though, the views are spectacular, the food and wine is incredible and with so many places to jump, you may not want to come home.
Alright, so let’s go over a few things before you plan your next death-defying BASE jumping holiday! If you follow social media, there are plenty of jaw-dropping jump locations around the world that you’re going to be tempted to try out, but remember, BASE jumping is extremely dangerous, and highly illegal in many parts of the world. National Parks, World UNESCO Heritage Sites, and places that have significant religious or cultural significance are not places you should be BASE jumping. Plus, you could be prosecuted. So stick to legal spots, make sure your gear is top notch, and understand that the more experience you have, the better your chances of survival so you can tell those unbelievable stories when you get home.

Take Them on a Virtual Date of Your Town
If you can’t take your love interest to your favourite haunts, why not take your date on a virtual tour? On your Zoom date, jump into Google Maps and create a tour of what your date would look like, starting at the place you would pick them up. Plot a few stops along the way, including a restaurant you would love to take them to, a favourite museum or art gallery, include a stroll through a park or unique neighbourhood, and don’t forget to stop somewhere for dessert. Be their personal tour guide and build a little anticipation for when you get to take them out in person.
Have Dinner Delivered to Each Other
If the two of you have been chatting for some time, you’ve probably talked about all of the usual topics; Favourite movies, places you’ve travelled, how you spend your time on the weekends, and what you like to eat. Since you can’t sit down at the dinner table together, why not order delivery for each other! Make it special with custom condiments, and set up a FaceTime or Zoom call so you can unpack it together. Set your dining area up with some candles, coordinate your music with one another, and voila! An intimate virtual date.
Take a MasterClass Together
If this pandemic has taught us anything, it’s to make time to better ourselves be it through upgrading professional skills to pivot to a new career, learning a new language we didn’t have time for before, or learning about a topic or subject matter that’s important or interesting to us. Find out what sorts of hidden passions your date may have, and see if any of them match yours. Maybe you both want to learn how to cook like Gordon Ramsay, or learn how to write an award-winning TV show script like Shonda Rhimes, or, if you’re feeling extra daring, maybe you both want to learn the secrets to wellness and emotional health from superstar relationship experts. Find some common ground and take a class together - It’s bound to make you feel more connected.
Go on a FakeCation Together
If there’s one thing that connects us right now, it’s our inability to get out there and see the world. But just because our passports are collecting dust and our luggage is stuck in a holding pattern, doesn’t mean we can't let our imaginations take flight. Let’s see how well you ‘travel’ together on a FakeCation. Pick a destination that both of you have ever explored, and plan out an itinerary. If you’re both into food and wine, find some virtual foodie tours, or a virtual wine tour that you can take together from the comfort of your homes. The best part? You get to keep that slim wallet in your back pocket, because FakeCations are free!
Look, we know going on a virtual date is nowhere near as exciting as the real thing, but we have to remember, we’re in a time when taking care of one another means keeping our distance. Virtual dates provide a unique opportunity to focus on our communication skills, take some extra time to take a deep dive on our love interests and build up some anticipation for when this is all over.

Before the pandemic, you were a high-flyer, you’re comfortable at airports because your time is spent catching up on work in the business or first class lounge. You prefer five-star service, you don’t like doing what everyone else is doing and you keep interesting company. The last thing you want when you’re heading out to a high-stakes dinner is a bulky, outdated leather wallet creasing up your threads. Consider the Blade Slim Card Holder for a more professional, upmarket look. With enough space for your two most important credit cards, ID and a few important business cards, it’s discrete, stylish and masculine.
If you’re not plummeting to the earth at 120mph, white-knuckling the side of your board as you drop in on the most perfect point break, or ‘shredding pow’ on a bluebird day, you don’t feel like you’re traveling (or living for that matter!) You’re hard on your gear, and you need a wallet that’s not only ultra-durable, but one that keeps everything where it needs to be. The Snake Eye Bi-fold Wallet is lightweight, has plenty of space for cash, cards and receipts, and the best thing about it is it zips up completely so you never have to worry about anything slipping out.
The wellness traveller likes to take it easy on the road. You travel to destinations that help you focus on your health, and provide you with the opportunity to unwind, relax and connect with nature. You might be escaping to a beachside resort so you can be up with the sun to catch the first waves. Or perhaps, you’re spending a week at a wellness centre, or maybe you’re on a Mastermind retreat trying to learn how to give your business a kick start while simultaneously learning how to meditate and manifest success. The Travel Wallet is a meticulously designed kangaroo leather wallet that will easily hold all of your travel and retreat essentials, and is compact enough to bring on a more active wellness trip.
Your hostel days might be behind you, but you still like to travel on a budget and keep the frivolities to a minimum. You might spend your holiday relaxing at a local guest’s house, or chilling by the pool at a budget hotel. You probably wouldn’t be caught dead on an organized tour, but, you like to explore cities on foot, eat where the locals do and you’ve got a bucketlist that needs checking off. The flashpacker is a bit of a minimalist, so your leather wallet should be sleek, subtle, but durable because of how much you move around. Consider a carbon fiber wallet with coin pocket because while credit cards are widely accepted, you still like to pay for things in cash, and you don’t want to lug around a bulky money holder.
You might be one of these traveller types, or maybe you’re a culmination of all four. And if that’s the case, there’s nothing wrong with having a different slim wallet for every occasion and travel style. It’s not like you wear one pair of shoes for every occasion, it’s good to have options depending on your style of trip and where you’re travelling in the world.
]]>With our lightweight carbon fiber wallets for men, travel scams become a little less likely to happen for you. Our collection of men's wallets use premium materials for superior durability and strength. Our carbon fiber wallets are amongst the slimmest wallets on the market and all of them are made with RFID protection.

You’re walking through a market, or down a busy street, and a seemingly harmless person will approach you, smile on their face, and place something on your body. It could be a bracelet, a necklace or a hat. In an instant, they go from friendly local to menacing stranger, demanding money for the item that you’ve ‘taken’ from them. The scammer will kick up a fuss and make a scene with the hope that you will just give them money to save yourself the hassle. If someone approaches you briskly, put both of your hands up, shake your head and say no thank you either in English (or better yet, the local language). And if they do manage to get something on your body, promptly remove it without discussion, hand it back and walk away.
This one is especially popular in south Asian countries, but don’t worry, we’ve got your back. When you rent a motorbike or scooter, the first thing you need to do, much like when you rent a car, is to conduct a ‘walk around’. Inspect the state of the tires, look for scratches or burn marks on the engine, and make sure there are no cracks. This is as much for your safety as it is to avoid being scammed! While you’re walking around, make sure whoever is renting it to you is taking notes, and if not, take your own notes. Also, make sure to take pictures. The way the scam works, naive tourists will rent the bike, bring it back and the renter will claim there is damage or engine repairs. In some extreme cases, renting companies will send out scammers to damage the bike when tourists leave the bike somewhere to go exploring. Bring your own lock, park the bike out of sight and away from main streets, and take photos of where you left it to cover your bases.
You know the saying imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? It’s not flattery when a shady shopkeeper is trying to rip you off by selling you fake designer goods, and at inflated prices to boot! Keep your carbon fiber wallet in your pocket and beware the double dealing con artist who might have actual name brain designer products on sale for bargain prices. The scam goes a little something like this; You eye up that designer watch, ask the price, the shopkeeper starts bargaining, and after a few more moments of haggling, you both settle on a price and the shopkeeper pretends to be irritated that he’s “not making any profit” on his sale. While you’re fishing around for your slim wallet, he swaps out the designer watch for a cheap knockoff. If that designer carbon fiber wallet is being advertised at some rock bottom price, be sure that it’s a deal that’s way too good to be true.
Finding good reliable Wi-Fi can be difficult, and when you do find it, it can cost you. And if you’re traveling on a backpacker’s budget, your financial situation is delicate. Which is why you really need to watch out for free Wi-Fi scams. So, how does it work? You pop into an internet café (yes, they exist), a coffee shop or café, or sometimes, it’s literally just a room with a router in it. The scammer gives you a free unlocked Wi-Fi hub you can log onto, and while you’re catching up your emails, message your friends or doing your online banking, they steal your data. Our advice? Never ever log into an unsecured network when travelling abroad, and always use a VPN (virtual private network). You went the extra mile to get an RFID wallet, so it wouldn't make sense to just hand over all of your information you're trying to protect online.
Look, we’re not going to tell you how to live your life when you’re travelling the world, but there’s nothing wrong with playing it safe when it comes to your health and money when you’re away from home. One of the oldest travel scams going involves a flirt local, lot’s of drinks at the bar, a disappearing act by said flirty local, and a rather large chaperone that she had waiting in the wings. Once your date runs out on the bill, you’re left not only to pay the bill, but to fork out a bunch of money to a rather intimidating bloke. We’re all for living dangerously, and for immersing yourself in local culture, but getting taken for everything your worth under threat of bodily harm is probably not something you included on your itinerary.
This is without a doubt the scam of all scams. It’s so common, it’s almost a rite of passage for the intrepid traveller. But let’s go over it again for the beginners. You arrive somewhere, or you hail a cab, you slide in, the driver asks you where you want to go, and this will go one of two ways. The cab driver will either tell you the meter is broken and attempt to charge you some absurd flat rate, or, their meter will be set to an absurd pick-up rate, and will subsequently go up in amounts that will make your carbon fiber wallet nervous. So how do you avoid this? If you’re staying at a hotel or hostel, ask the front desk what cab companies are reputable. This is also the age of Uber, so you may want to confirm whether or not the city or destination you’re visiting has Uber. Also, do some research on the costs of point-to-point trips so if you run into a scammer, you can either argue a better rate, or step out of the cab and find a driver who’s willing to give you a fair ride.
Some scams happen when you arrive in your destination, and others happen from the comfort and safety of your own home when you’re in the early planning stages of your trip. Vacation rentals are a super popular choice, like a bad tune, the scam goes a little something like this; You email a property owner through a property or owners website, the owner responds to you offering you an unbeatable discount on your booking if you are willing to pay for your rental with a wire payment. This is often sold as a great deal for you as you save an exchange rates on your credit card, and of course, you’re getting a discounted rate on your vacation rental. But before you know it, the “owner” pulls the listing, you never received a booking confirmation and you may as well kiss your money goodbye. How can you avoid this? Use a travel advisor, always book with your credit card, and purchase travel protection.
These are just a few travel scams to watch out for, unfortunately, being scammed can turn an epic vacation into the stuff of nightmares in a matter of minutes. Use your travel smarts, keep your valuables to a minimum, keep your eyes and ears open, and remember, if the deal sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
For added protection while traveling, purchase an RFID wallet for men, designed with carbon fiber. Shop Cold Fire today.

Make sure to pack for all-seasons on this jaw-dropping 700 mile adventure from Anchorage Alaska, down to Canada’s Yukon on the Old Alaska Road. Sparsely populated, unspoiled and teeming with everything from Bear, Moose, and Bison, this is the kind of trip you won’t want to ever end. Accommodation is sparse, but if you’re daring, pop a tent and remember, home is wherever you hang your helmet. This stretch of highway is unforgivable at times, so pack light, and be sure to brush up on your mechanical skills, because you’ve only got the wildlife to call on for assistance.
Vietnam is known for its pristine beaches, dizzying intersections, postcard worthy landscape and affordability. It’s also the perfect place to plan an epic post-pandemic motorcycle trip. Make sure to bring your camera gear because the rural country side and the humble people who wave to you from their villages are memories you’re going to want to come back to time and time again. The road from Quang Bhin to Phong Nien will make you want to test your throttle and the scenery will steal your breath away. Don't forget to pack your slim wallet too because there are many places you'll want to stop. Roadside markets and food stalls will keep your belly full, endless rice patties and rolling green hills will chase any boredom away, and the technical difficulty of riding this challenging road will have you feeling like you’ve been transported back into another era.
Saddle up, it’s time to do some real riding. You want some thrills? How tacking 318 curves on one of the worlds most beloved touring roads for motorcyclists? North Carolina’s Tail of the Dragon is a mere 11-miles of the US 129, but whipping through under the cover of the Great Smoky Mountains, dodging meandering wild boar, turkeys and bear will definitely have you testing the throttle and sharpen your senses. The winter months are the most treacherous, so think about a spring to early fall start for this trip.
The N14 is no magic carpet ride, but this legendary stretch from Marrakech through the Western Sahara will make you feel like a time traveller. This level of riding requires highly specialized, lightweight gear, that includes your thinnest wallet, a solid wrench kit (complete with a mastery of mechanics), and nerves of steel, because it’s just you, a handful of curious caravans and sands older than time out there on the road. There are few stretches of ‘road’ as desolate that offer the rider the thrilling feeling of being insignificant. The sunsets set the sands ablaze and the sunrises awaken the soul every day, reminding you that you’re still alive.
Stop what you’re doing right now (unless you’re at work, than maybe just make a note of this for later). But seriously, any motorcycle enthusiast worth their salt will have seen Motorcycle Diaries and if you’ve got your eye on South America for a motorcycle trip, this stunning biopic takes you on journey through the pre-revolutionary days of Che Guevera. This unforgettable, hair-raising, adrenaline pumping ride takes you through Argentina, Chile, Peru, Colombia, and finally ends in Venezuela. If you think you’ve got what it takes, this 11,722 mile odyssey follows his tire prints and is no doubt, the stuff dreams are made of.
These are just a handful of the world’s most epic post-pandemic motorcycle trips, but there should be enough variety here to inspire you to start planning. Remember to pay close attention to seasons, climate patterns, and road conditions for the times you want to travel. And remember, you might be walking around with the thinnest wallet in your back pocket, but that’s no reason to cheap out on gear. Go with the best, because that’s what you deserve.

In the age of internet trolls, and friend groups divided over politics and complicated social issues straining relationships more than ever before, understanding how to step in and de-escalate disagreements is probably one of the most important life skills you can master. Conflict resolution requires courage, critical thinking, empathy, and patience. This is also a skill that is invaluable in the workplace. It doesn’t come naturally for everyone, so you may want to consider hiring a life coach or mentor to help you master this skill, but it’s worth investing in.
Okay, before you panic and click away, take a deep breath in, close your eyes, exhale, and tell yourself, “I can do this.” Public speaking is often listed as the number one fear or phobia. It ranks higher than getting cancer, suffering sudden job loss or even losing a loved one. And you might be saying to yourself, ‘Why would I need to learn how to be a public speaker if my career doesn’t require it.’ Public speaking has several purposes; it helps win over a crowd in a debate or argument; It helps you to educate others about a subject or topic you’re passionate about or want to engage in a dialogue about; And it serves to motivate people. If you have any desire to move up through the ranks at the company or organization you work for, you may want to consider taking some public speaking courses to help you nurture confidence. Or maybe, you want to join a virtual panel about a subject that you happen to know a great deal about. Public speaking is another one of those life skills that benefits you across various chapters in your life.
Do you know how to live on a budget? No, but seriously? How good are you at saving? Do you even have savings? What about retirement? And is your money working for you? These are all things that you need to master. At the very least, living within your means and setting aside monthly savings for various reasons should be high on your list of priorities. Shopping for tactical wallets is cool if you’ve set the funds aside, and you’re not letting a bill slide so you can spoil yourself. Consider chatting with a financial advisor to make concrete plans for your financial future.
Practice my what? Is this kindergarten? Look, we’re all lifelong students, and the sooner you embrace that, the better. When was the last time you read about a particular topic you were interested in, or an event in history you wanted to learn more about? Consider trading in a few hours of swiping up on your smartphone for getting lost in some great fiction, a riveting biography about your favorite modern hero, or a self-help book on whatever it is you want to work on. Reading helps expand vocabulary, helps to relieve stress, and sharpens your memory. Audiobooks and podcasts are great, but reading has been proven to improve your overall mental well-being. And you know what people care about more than the size of your carbon fiber wallet? Your overall health and well-being.
This should be mandatory for absolutely everyone, so if this isn’t something you’ve already acquired, you should get on it. Accidents can happen at any time, any place. At home, at work, on the street, and there are times when every second could mean the difference between life and death. Knowing basic CPR for adults and children, how to dress wounds, and how to look for signs of concussion, stroke, and heart attack could save someone’s life. And bonus to knowing First Aid is you can often get a small bump in salary for having such a specialized skill.
There will instances when you need to call in a professional for safety reasons, but there are plenty of basic skills you should have when you’re living on your own. Knowing how to do some basic plumbing, how to install a light fixture, or how to repair drywall are all things that could be learned quite easily. There’s always YouTube and just think about how much easier it’ll be on the ‘ol tactical wallet when you’re not shelling out big bucks for a professional to fix something minor.
No one likes being told they have to eat their vegetables, but if you want to lead a long, happy, productive life, you need to be doing more than just shopping on the outer edges of the grocery store. Do a deep dive into your nutritional needs, and consider hiring a nutritionist or dietician. These professionals can help you sort out meal plans and give you food alternatives if you have sensitivities or if you’re not getting enough of a particular vitamin or nutrient. The best care is proactive care, and starting with what you put in your body will keep you out of the doctor’s office and out enjoying your life.
If this pandemic has taught us anything it’s how important having a sense of community is. With so many folks in isolation, unable to see their loved ones, some unable to access the necessities needed to live comfortably, some heroes popped up the world over to come to their rescue. Whether it was musicians donating their time to provide sidewalk symphonies, Zumba enthusiasts leading classes from their driveways, or the average citizen delivering meals and pick-me-ups to the elderly, these acts of kindness are something we should all be performing regularly. It may be difficult right now to volunteer in person, but there are other ways you can give back. Consider providing virtual tutoring sessions to someone learning English as their second language, or maybe your local animal shelter requires volunteers to take the pooches out for a quick stroll. Find something you’re passionate about and give back to the community that gave to you.
Some life skills you’ll pick up from living at home with your parents, and will manage to take with you out into the world, and others, you’ll have to get out there and invest in. Knowledge is power, and you can never have too much wisdom, so do yourself a favor and try to be the best human you can be at every opportunity.

If you drive your car or motorcycle all day long, you likely wouldn’t purchase the cheapest one out there for fear that it would fall apart and the same can be said about men’s wallets. So, if the men’s wallet you’re considering isn’t a men’s leather wallet or a carbon fiber wallet, it’s time to keep looking. Otherwise, you’ll be replacing your “new” wallet before the price tag even comes off.
The best men’s wallets are designed with high-quality, intense materials that ensure the accessory will be able to keep up with daily wear and tear. That’s why our Cold Fire carbon fiber wallets are made with top-quality kangaroo leather, carbon fiber, an ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene that is 15x stronger than steel, aerospace-grade titanium – and that’s only to name a few.
There are two types of men in this world – guys who don’t trust banks and who always have a wad of cash on them and guys who never carry a dime. Determining what type of guy you are will help you narrow in on the best men leather wallets for you.
If you carry a lot of cash, you’ll want to look at mens wallets with trifolds or bifolds. These are designed with extra folds for you to put your bills in. Determining which one you need – trifold or bifold – is as simple as figuring out how much money you typically have in your wallet.
Now, if you also carry bills with you often, then you likely have a pocket full of change on a regular basis. So, you may want to upgrade to a leather wallet with coin pockets. But here’s the tricky part – a lot of trifold and bifold wallets are big and bulky, and stick out of your pocket like a jackpot for looming thieves. It's much better to look for the thinnest wallets for men and choosing one with a pocket. Here at Cold Fire, even our largest men’s wallets with the most folds, pockets, pouches and ID windows are still amongst the thinnest wallets on the market. We know how much it sucks to have a massive wallet weighing you down, so we perfected the manufacturing process to come up with thin wallets for men who like to carry around a wad of cash.
Perhaps you carry some cash with you, but not a lot or very often; a thin carbon fiber wallet with a small pocket is a great option for you. With these thin leather wallets, there’s a barely-there pocket that you can slide money into the odd time you have cash or you can use the space to store some cards or pictures of your babies – and by babies, we mean motorcycles and automobiles.
Narrowing in on your traveling habits is the next step to finding the best leather wallets for men.
If you’re often taking off with the guys to a dangerous destination or to do some intense daredevil adventure, you’ll want a leather wallet that can withstand the craziness and that is durable. Otherwise, you risk having your most priced possessions falling out or getting lost, which will add to the adventure but perhaps in all the ways you do not want it to.
There are a couple of options to choose from if this sounds like you. For starters, you’ll need to look into the best leather wallets for men. If you followed the first step in this article, you’re good as you’ll already be looking at kangaroo leather wallets made with carbon fiber and intense metals.
However, you may also want to consider the style of the wallet For example, you may want to choose a zippered men’s wallet for that extra layer of protection. And while you’re at it, you might as well pick up a zippered passport cover.
Lucky you, you dare devil. As long as you stick with the best carbon fiber wallets and work your way through the rest of this post, any mens wallet will work for you.
You’re a travel junkie but the wifey makes you stick to “safer” destinations... Such as all-inclusive family resorts. Hey, we’re not judging. All joking aside, even the safest international destinations pose some risks to your bank account. Not only that but how often you travel internationally will help you determine the best men’s wallets for you.
If you travel the globe regularly, you likely have a collection of international currency. This can be a pain when traveling with a slim wallet that leaves no room for some paper and coins. Think about getting a carbon fiber wallet with a pocket and you can toss everything from euros, dollars and pounds into it without worry. With this carbon fiber mens wallet, you will even have room to separate the different currencies.
Speaking of traveling, the one thing you absolutely need in any mens wallet you choose, whether you’re traveling to a war zone, to a family-friendly resort or to the local motorcycle shop, is an RFID wallet. Without RFID protection, anyone can walk by and swipe your most valuable data. So, as an unwritten rule, if it doesn’t have RFID armor, avoid it. It’s that simple – and yes, it’s that important, unless you don’t care about having your ID stolen and your credit cards maxed out by complete strangers – it happens a lot more than people realize.
Now, if you’re insanely reckless (who isn’t?) and need an extra layer of protection in addition to the RFID blocking technology, a zippered mens wallet is a good choice for you. It gives you protection from both traditional pickpocketing and electronic pickpocketing, and you don’t have to worry about your money falling out throughout the day.
Remember when I said there were two types of men – men who carry around a wad of cash and men who carry around cards? Well, I lied. There is another type of man worth mentioning – men who use their wallet as their own personal trash bin.
You know, the type of guys who need every pocket possible because their wallet is overflowing with receipts, wrappers, garbage, carbs and coins? If you’re this guy, you need a slim carbon fiber that offers maximum functionality and space, like our carbon fiber leather wallet with a coin pocket. You may even want to consider using the travel zip around wallet on a daily basis. It’s the largest one we have but it is still designed to be one of the slimmest wallets out there.
If reading that previous section made you cringe, you likely are the type of guy who keeps as little as possible in their wallet. You bring the cards you need but other than that, it does not enter your wallet. Our thinnest wallet collection is designed for you and if you want to go even thinner than a slim wallet, our slim cardholders are where it’s at.
Choosing the right leather wallet starts with the best mens wallets – we’re talking high-quality, top-grain leather wallets and carbon fiber wallets. Once you have narrowed in on these, then you can go through the different styles and features mentioned in this post to find the best carbon fiber leather wallets for you specifically. But remember, if it isn’t carbon fiber and doesn’t have RFID protection, it isn’t going to keep up with your intense (and sometimes reckless) lifestyle.
Shop the slimmest wallets designed with carbon fiber and kangaroo leather today on Cold Fire. Our collection of men’s wallets offer unparalleled strength and durability. If these wallets can’t keep up with your exhilarating lifestyle, we don’t know which ones will.

You can never go wrong with having a self defense tool on you at all times. Our tactical pen has two interchangeable heads with one being a Tungsten head for self defense. This will give an extra sting to any punches you serve, if worst case happens. At the very least, it’ll give you the added benefit of the following…
You may not have to use your tactical pen while traveling but simply having it on you will give you an extra sense of security which can be priceless. Most criminals look for people who appear vulnerable, distracted or weak before they strike, and when you have an added sense of security, you appear more confident. This can be all you need to deter potential threats from happening when traveling to a new city, state or country.
It’s always good to have a backup plan, especially when traveling. It increases your confidence while traveling and also gives you an escape plan if need be. Our tactical pen is great for this as the other changeable head is a ceramic bead head which can be used to break windows. So, if you were ever stuck in a sticky situation, such as a vehicle or building, you have a way out. The great part is that our tactical pens look like regular pens and wouldn’t be seen as a threat if someone was to see it on you.
One of our favourite benefits of using tactical accessories, such as our tactical pen while traveling is having the ability to trek off the beaten path. When you don’t have self defense tools on you, you really can’t explore the horizon when traveling. Well, you could but it would be significantly riskier than if you were to travel with tactical travel accessories. Otherwise, you’re pretty much restricted to the populated, common touristy areas which can take away from the experience as a whole.
Slip our tactical pen in your pocket and depending on where you’re traveling to, you may be able to see more of the destination simply because you have the confidence (and tool) needed to do so.
Traveling with tactical travel accessories is just smart. Considering how small and lightweight it is to have a tactical pen on you, there really is no reason to ever step into an unfamiliar city, state or country without one. It’s not like you have to lug a heavy bag around or anything like that. Just purchase a Carbon Fiber Pen Case when you get your tactical pen, and you can easily slip it into your day-to-day attire while traveling.
While a tactical pen will provide you with all of the benefits listed, it will not protect you against being electronically pickpocketed. The only way to ensure your most valuable information doesn’t get swiped through your pocket when in large crowds is to use an RFID wallet and an RFID passport cover. This will block the transmission waves if someone tries to electronically pickpocket you. Combine our RFID carbon fiber wallets and passport covers with a tactical pen, and you’re one step ahead of the game when traveling.
